Return List Overview

Return List is a sub-function of the Manage RMA main function which allows clients to view all current and past RMA created. This function also serves as the hub for working or editing all open RMA. To learn more about creating RMA please view our RMA guide here.

Searching for RMA’s

  1. Navigate to Manage RMA -> Return List
  2. Click Search find all past and current RMA or search by a specific criteria.
    • To search by filters Click the arrow and select your preferred criteria
    Below are descriptions of each filter available to search

    Newegg RMA #: An identifying number generated after client creates a RMA on the
    Newegg Logistics Portal.

    Seller RMA #:
    An identifying number generated by the client during RMA creation

    Seller Order #:  A Clients order identifier used to track orders.

    Newegg Item #: A product identifying number generated during the creation of a new SKU in the Newegg system.

    Seller Part #: Number used for product identification by the client.

Table Overview

Once you are at the screen you’ll have an overview of all RMAs that are in the system.

Below is a Description of each Column

Status: Stage or progress of the RMA. More information on this below.

Newegg RMA #: An identifying number generated after client creates a RMA on the
Newegg Logistics Portal.

Seller RMA #: An identifying number generated by the client during RMA creation

Tracking #: Number assigned by Carrier to track package through the fulfillment process.

Return Labels: Field that will display the label if Return label is created using our Return label service 

Create Date: Date that RMA was Created

Received Date: Date in which the RMA was received by the warehouse

Responded Date: Date that the review of the RMA was completed, communication sent.

Closed Date: Date that the RMA was reviewed and completed.

Order #: Order number that the RMA is Linked to

Photos: Column that will show a check mark if photos are taken for the RM

As the RMA goes through the system there will be Multiple Status that will be applied to the RMA. Below are descriptions of each status.

Created: First stage of the RMA. This will show before tracking or labels have been applied to the RMA.

Received: Status update when the RMA is has been checked in at a Newegg Logistics Warehouse.

Responded: A Decision has been made on the RMA such as restocking or disposal of the item.

Posted: RMA has been finalized, Memo is has been issued.

Exceptional: Status informing client of error or issue with RMA preventing progress. More information can be viewed on the Return Process Log.

Open: Return is currently in process. No resolution has been reached.

Void: Return has been cancelled out by the client.

Closed: RMA has Reached a Decision, no further work is needed.
